LinkedIn posts don't support formatting. This tool swaps your letters for look-alike characters from Unicode's mathematical alphabets (for example 𝗕 instead of B), which LinkedIn displays like any other character.
Is formatted text accessible?
Not fully. Some screen readers read these characters letter by letter or skip them, and LinkedIn search may not match them. Use bold for a few words, like a hook or a heading, never for whole paragraphs.
Which characters can be formatted?
The letters A to Z in both cases, and digits for bold and monospace. Accented letters, punctuation and emoji stay as they are.
How long can a LinkedIn post be?
3,000 characters. This tool counts each formatted letter as one character, but some systems count these characters as two, so leave some room if you format a lot of text close to the limit.
