AI post generator

Write one post. Get a native version for every network.

Start from a prompt or a link. Illumipost drafts the post, then rewrites it to fit each network's length, format and conventions. You review every version before it's scheduled.

What the AI does in the composer

Draft from a prompt

Describe what you want to say. The draft follows your workspace's brand voice.

Draft from a URL

Paste an article, blog post or video page. Illumipost fetches it, pulls out the main points and writes a post from them.

Adapt for each network

One click writes a separate version for every account you selected: a LinkedIn post with a hook, an X post or thread, a Bluesky post, a Mastodon toot.

Rewrite with a tone

More concise, more professional, punchier, or with a call to action.

Hashtags and alt text

Suggested hashtags for the networks that use them, and alt text for each image.

Brand voice

Describe your voice, list words to use and avoid, set an emoji policy, and paste 3 to 10 example posts. Every AI call in the workspace uses it.

Why "native per network" matters

The same text pasted into five networks reads wrong on most of them. LinkedIn rewards a strong first line and short paragraphs. X needs the point inside 280 weighted characters, where an emoji counts as 2 and every link as 23. Bluesky counts graphemes, not characters, and stops at 300. Mastodon servers set their own limit.

Illumipost keeps one base message and a separate tab for each account. The AI fills those tabs, and each one is checked against its network's rules before you can schedule it. Errors show inline in the composer.

You stay in charge

Nothing the AI writes goes out unless you save or schedule it. On Pro and Team, contributors can draft with AI and submit for approval, and an editor publishes.

Frequently asked questions

Does the AI publish posts on its own?

No. AI output is always a draft. It publishes only after a person saves or schedules it, and posts touched by AI are marked as AI-assisted in your workspace.

Which AI model does Illumipost use?

Anthropic's Claude models: a larger model for drafting and repurposing, a smaller one for rewrites, hashtags and alt text.

How does it know each network's limits?

The same limits that validate your post before scheduling are given to the AI: 300 graphemes on Bluesky, 280 weighted characters on X, 3,000 characters on LinkedIn, and your Mastodon server's own limit.

How many generations do I get?

It depends on your plan's AI credits: 30 a month on Free, up to 5,000 on Team. A draft costs 3 credits; adapting for all networks costs 5. See pricing.

Who processes the text I send to AI features?

Anthropic processes it, through Cloudflare AI Gateway, to produce your draft. See our privacy policy for the processors we use.
