Good to know
- X charges per post through its API: $0.015 per post and $0.20 per post that contains a link (docs.x.com pricing, checked October 22, 2026). Replies with links are billed at the link price too.
- Each paid plan includes a monthly X allowance with a separate limit for posts with links. The Free plan doesn't include X.
- The composer warns you when an X post contains a link.
How AI helps on X
Write one base post, or start from a link. Adapt for each network produces a X version within the limits above, and you can rewrite it for tone or ask for hashtags and alt text. Check your length first with the free character counter.
